Our payment guidelines ensure that the methods used for deposits and withdrawals are consistent. Specifically, clients must withdraw funds using the same method they used for the deposit. This policy applies across various payment methods, including bank transfers, credit cards, and digital wallets.
Can I withdraw using a different method than my deposit?
Typically, withdrawals must be processed back to the original method of deposit. However, exceptions can be made if the original deposit method is no longer available or in special circumstances as determined by our company. For example, if a client used a credit card that has since expired, they may choose an alternative method available within our platform for withdrawals.
What if the original deposit method is no longer available?
If the method used for your deposit is unavailable at the time of withdrawal, please contact our support by Raise Request so that we can provide assistance and alternative options to ensure you can access your funds safely and efficiently.
Can I withdraw my funds if I used different methods for deposit
Yes, you can withdraw your funds at FXTM even if you used different methods for deposit, but you need to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. FXTM mandates that withdrawals be processed back to the same deposit methods in the same proportion as the deposits were made. This policy helps prevent financial crimes such as money laundering by ensuring that the funds are returned to their original source.
For example, if you deposited $300 with a credit card and $200 with an e-wallet, you are required to withdraw up to $300 back to your credit card and up to $200 to your e-wallet, aligning with the amounts initially deposited through each method. This proportionate withdrawal strategy ensures that the funds are tracked consistently and returned to their legitimate sources.
Once you've matched the withdrawal amounts to the deposit amounts per method, any remaining balance can be withdrawn using any method, subject to FXTM’s policies
