To get access to all functionality on FXTM services, such as creating trading accounts, making deposits, and more, you need to provide the following documents for us to verify your account:
- Proof of identity.
- Proof of address.
What documents are required to verify my account?
To verify your FXTM account, you need to provide us with clear, colour copies (mobile photo or a scan) of the following documents:
Accepted Proof of Identity documents:
- Passport
- National identity card
- Driving licence
- Residence permit
Note: If the National ID states your residential address, then no other documents are needed. If not, please also provide us with Proof of Residence document.
Proof of Residence documents accepted:
- Bank/card statement
- Utility bill (Water/gas/electric/internet/telephone bill)
- Residency certificate
- Insurance statement
- Tenancy agreement
- Vehicle registration
Note: Proof of Residence document should be issued within the last 3 months.
You can provide a utility bill issued in your family member's/tenant's name.
What can I do if none of my bills are in my name?
You can also provide us with a Proof of Address document that is issued in the name of your landlord, parent, or spouse. Please specify whose name the Proof of Address document is in when uploading the document to MyFXTM.
How can I change my registered name?
You can amend your registered name by sending us a photo of a valid ID document to documents@fxtm.com and we will amend the name on your account to match it. Your request will be reviewed and processed within 1 business day.
How old do I need to be to trade on FXTM?
Please note that you need to be 18 years or older to register for an account and trade on FXTM.
