Steps to create a trading account
To open a new Live or Demo Trading account follow these steps:
- Login to your MyFXTM Dashboard > My Accounts > Open New Account
- Click the 'Open account' button under the Trading account type you have chosen
- Select account currency and leverage
- Create a Trading account Password and click 'Open account'
- You will be redirected to the page with details on your newly create account.
Your password should:
- Include 8 - 20 characters.
- Consists of both uppercase and lowercase characters.
- Include at least one number.
- Include at least one symbol.

How many Trading accounts can I open?
You can only register one MyFXTM account, however you have the flexibility to open up to a maximum of 10 live trading accounts. You can check more details here: How many Trading accounts can I open?
What currency can I open a Trading account in?
We offer Trading accounts in the following currencies: USD, GBP, and EUR.
For customers residing in Nigeria, NGN-denominated Trading accounts are also available.
Can I change my Trading account currency or type?
Once you have created a Trading account in a specific currency, you are not able to change the account type or currency. You can, however, always open a new Trading account and select a different account type and currency.
- MT4 Trading account can only be used with the MetaTrader 4 platform.
- For trading on MetaTrader 5, you need to create an MT5 Trading account.
